My story
I changed careers from a counsellor to a health and wellbeing coach because I love working with people who wish to improve their health and wellbeing, not only to look and feel better, but to prevent the onset of lifestyle related illnesses such as type 2 diabetes that are common these days.
I believe that prevention is better than cure and found this to me true for me when I made changes to my lifestyle. For years I tried every diet available on the market, only to find that while I was good at dieting and losing weight, I was not good at keeping it off. In fact, before now, I was never able to maintain my new weight. Desperate for a solution, I went searching for a better way and that's when I discovered a new method that works.
As a result, I am passionate about helping others get off the yo-yo dieting treadmill and not only achieve but maintain their new healthy lifestyle.
Health Coaching
When people seek the help of a health coach, they are usually struggling with some health issues, weight management issues and/or would like to make some changes to their lifestyle to become slimmer, fitter and healthier. Health coaching supports clients to achieve their health and wellness goals and keeps them accountable in the process.
As a health coach, I work with clients collaboratively as we formulate a plan and set specific goals together. The time frame for accomplishing these goals might be 3 months, 6 months or 12 months, depending on the client’s needs. Individual or group programmes are available.
The benefits of health coaching include improved health and wellbeing, ability to keep to a healthy weight, improved energy, healthier choices and more.
There are so many different diets along with conflicting and confusing information which can seem overwhelming! Health and wellness goals sometimes can get thrown in the 'too hard basket' and it may take many years to make any changes.
As each of us are unique, health coaching can help to clarify your own health and wellness goals which we can work toward. For example, if your goal is to lose weight, then we can work together to choose the best weight management solution that will transform you into the healthy person you wish to be.

Natural Health
These days more and more people are using natural health products instead of turning to synthetic treatments to look after their health and wellbeing.
More of us are realising that there are better ways to look after ourselves than the conventional methods. Natural supplements are a means for us to ensure that we are getting enough nutrients and a great complement to a healthy lifestyle.
