When people seek the help of a health and nutrition coach, they are usually struggling with some health issues, weight management issues or would like to make some changes to their lifestyle to become slimmer, fitter and healthier. Health and nutrition coaching helps to support clients in achieving their health and wellness goals as well as keeping them accountable in the process.
The health and nutrition coach and client work together to formulate a plan, set specific goals and the time frame for the client to accomplish these goals. The time frame might be 3 months, 6 months or 12 months, depending on the client’s needs. The health and nutrition coach and client may work together on a 1 on 1 basis or in a group setting of 4 to 12 people. The client signs up for either an individual or a group programme.
